Advanced SystemCare Privacy Sweep now clears Facebook private data too
Advanced SystemCare Privacy Sweep has been updated to add Facebook private data clearing options, in the latest update. Iobit is turning its focus to provide users control over their sensitive data.
This comes in the wake of several issues concerning the most used social network in the World. In the previous update, Iobit had a made a single change to the application, and you get no prizes for guessing what it was.
Advanced SystemCare was patched to support clearing cookies and browser data related to Facebook. These options are now available in the Privacy Sweep option in the program’s interface. So, when you use the option, you can clear your Facebook cookies with ease. This is a good addition of course, there is no question about it. Prior to this, the application didn’t delete the data, to provide some convenience for the user. Not everyone likes re-logging into Facebook every time they open the browser. But we think privacy beats convenience any day. This is optional obviously, so if you do not care about privacy issues, you can just uncheck the browser cleaner, and you are good to go.
The Advanced SystemCare Privacy Sweep now also deletes app cache from Facebook and the download history in Google Chrome, and the cache stored by the iTunes installer. The program supports Google Chrome 66 and Firefox 60 in both the privacy cleaner and software updater.
In addition to the Advanced SystemCare Privacy Sweep, the update also brings several improvements. It can clean the data from Dropbox 50.4 and GIMP 2.10. The Windows Font Cache cleaning has been improved too. The company has patched all known bugs which were reported by users. It also says that there several improvements have been made under the hood, including the Registry Clean and Startup Manager modules, which have been enhanced for making the computer run faster.
There are some other improvements in terms of security patches, which concern the built-in Surf Protection & Ads Removal tools in the program. These have been updated to provide a safer browsing experience for users.
Advanced System Care can now find Microsoft Word and Excel files, using the Large File Finder, which can help you recover some storage space on your computer’s hard drive. The version which brings these features is Advanced SystemCare 220.127.116.11, which you can download from the official website. You can check which version you have by navigating to the Menu > About screen.
