Call of Duty: Black Ops III is releasing on November 6, PC System Requirements revealed

by AshwinApril 28, 2015

Activision has revealed the launch date and the PC system requirements for its upcoming game in its first-person shooter franchise, Call of Duty.

The latest iteration in the series is Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which serves as a sequel to Black Ops II.

The game is developed by Treyarch, a subsidiary of Activision.

The story of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is set in the future where bio-technology has created a new breed of Black Ops soldier, who are apparently interconnected to each other by an intelligence grid.

The game includes a new weapon customization system which lets you create your own arsenal. The AI and animations have been redesigned, as is the game’s stunning graphics.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has three game modes:

  1. A Campaign mode
  2. Online Multiplayer
  3. and Zombies.

The campaign mode can be played like a regular solo Singleplayer game, but it can also be played as a co-op game which supports up to 4 players online. Besides customizing weapons, it also lets you customize your outfits, abilities, and more.

The online multiplayer mode features a new fluid movement system, including jumping, sliding and more while still controlling your weapon. Players can choose to play as a male or female character.

Besides the Traditional and Weapons XP level systems, Multiplayer introduces a new character class system: Specialist. This allows players to level up each specific character’s capabilities and weapons. There are nine elite Black Ops soldiers, who each have their own unique look, personality, backstory, devastating weapons and abilities, according to the announcement on the Activision Blog.

To me this sounds very similar to Borderlands, as it has four characters specializing in their own abilities and weapons of choice.

Zombies allows the player to battle the undead and offers its own storyline, and also has a full XP progression system.

Here is the list of the official PC system requirements which you will need to run the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III Minimum System Requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit / Windows 8.1 64-Bit
