Smartphones have become a necessity in our daily lives. But they will never replace a computer. The convenience of reading and viewing content on a big screen monitor cannot be matched by any phone’s display, regardless of how thin its bezels are. We all get links via email and IM, which are better viewed on a computer. But instead of texting the link to yourself, you can simply send it to your PC directly. Do you know how to enable Continue on PC in Windows 10?

No? Don’t worry, we are here to help you.

You need to be on the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update or above for this to work. You also need an iPhone or an Android device with any web browser. Yes, contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to use Microsoft Edge on your phone. You only need to use Edge on your PC.

That’s it. Your phone is now linked to your computer.  The procedure is the same on Android and iOS.

Now when you are browsing a webpage on your phone, but want to view the same on your PC, you can click on the share icon, and select the “Continue On PC” option. This will show you the list of computers you have linked your account with, and you can choose the one you want to share the webpage with, and the link will instantly be sent to your PC.

You don’t even have to open Edge on your PC for this PC to work. Even if the browser is not opened on your computer, Windows 10 will open Edge automatically, to display the webpage which you shared from your phone. If you don’t want to open the page immediately on your PC, you can choose the “Continue Later” option, which will send a notification to your PC’s Action Center. You can click on it anytime to view the link you shared.

And that’s how to enable Continue on PC in Windows 10. Simple, wasn’t it?
