Live Photos support for Messages App arrives with Mac OS X 10.11.4 Beta

Apple recently released a new version of its operating system for Mac machines, called the Mac OS X 10.11.4 Beta.

The update was seeded to developers earlier this week, but there was one small problem.

The Cupertino company, did not provide a change-log for the update, much alike to its arch-rival in Redmond, aka Microsoft.The update did add some new features silently, and one of which has been spotted by users.

Apple Music tops 10 million subscribers in 6 months, is predicted to be the No.1 streaming service in 2017

It must be celebration time over at Cupertino, for Apple is making 10 million paid subscribers dance to its tunes.

The company’s music streaming service, Apple Music, hit the historic landmark today, just 6 months after it was launched.

The Financial Times broke the news earlier today. Interestingly a comparison has been made with rival services. Most notably, it has been quoted that Spotify, the world’s leading digital music streaming service, took 6 years to reach the 10 million users landmark, and that it currently has around 60 Million paid users.

Software, security updates and vulnerabilities, are probably what every user needs to be aware of in today’s digital world.

Wondering which software was the most vulnerable last year? Here are the top ones.

If you think Adobe Flash Player was the most vulnerable product last year, your answer was wrong, but not by much though. The media content plugin was found to have over 300 vulnerabilities, and sits at third place in the list.

Apple iTunes Music Store is reportedly a battery drainer on MacBooks

Apple’s laptops are quite renowned for their performance, which quite often outperform those running on rival operating systems (read Windows).

Despite recent improvements in Mac OS X, towards optimizing the battery life, it has been found that these aren’t particularly effective.
