If you have a computer running on a genuine version of Windows 7 or Windows 8 or 8.1, you can upgrade to Windows 10 for free when the OS launches on July 29th.
We have already reported about the Get Windows 10 App. It was originally launched in April, as an optional Windows Update, and has now begun notifying eligible users by placing a tray icon.
Clicking on this icon will let you reserve your free upgrade to Windows 10.
