Almost everyone uses Gmail, either on the phone or on the web. While smartphones have made people use email more than before, the web version of the email service still boasts millions of users. If you are one of them, you should know that the new Gmail interface migration begins from October 2018.

The Gmail web mention @ option is live, for users with the new interface of the web mail service. This allows you to quickly add a contact’s email address within the body of the mail.
The first thing you need to do to use this @mention feature, is to enable the new Gmail version in your web browser. How do you do that? It is very simple, login to your Google account, and click on the cog button in the top right corner. You will see a “Try the new Gmail” option. Google has launched a themed interface for its web services, to celebrate the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, which is launching next month.
And for this very purpose, Google says it worked with Lucasfilm and Disney, to offer fans of the sci-fi franchise a new experience. The themes are just eye candy obviously, and do not add or change the functionaility of the srvices in anyway.
The new themes are available for a plethora of services including Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Chrome and more.

Gmail has superb spam filters, which the Mountain View company constantly keeps updating to keep its users safe., It even recently launched some special tools for webmasters, to ensure their email newsletters don’t land in the spam folder.
While Gmail tries to keep the inbox spam free, there is actually a major problem which the spam filters causes. Despite the Mountain View company’s best efforts, some important emails, do land in the spam folder. Nobody’s perfect eh?
