Google’s other email service, Inbox has added support for a couple of new features in its web app.
The service now apparently allows users to cleaning their spam and trash folders.
Apparently? Well yes, I admit it, I do not use Google Inbox, as I find it to be clunky and boring. Email spam continues to be annoying as ever, and I get a few spam mails everyday in my Gmail, and I empty the folder at least once everyday. That is why I find it hilarious how a company behind the world’s most popular email service, Gmail, overlooked the lack of such basic features in Inbox. It’s ridiculous, isn’t it?

If you are using an Apple iPhone, or an Android phone, or tablet for that matter, it is likely that you have come across Google’s “other email” app.
It is called Inbox by Gmail.
And its not exclusive to mobile devices, Google Inbox is also available for desktop web browsers, but only if you activate on your mobile device first. Inbox is currently available for Google Chrome, Apple Safari, and Mozilla Firefox desktop browsers.
Google has begun promoting Inbox in the most unusual way. It has begun displaying a promotional text banner in Gmail, which now asks users to try out Inbox.
