Inbox by Gmail has been a rather odd ride, even though it comes from the makers of Google’s reowned email service.
Playing second fiddle to Gmail is never going to be an easy task, and this is only complicated by the plethora of features which the email giant offers.
Inbox drawn in criticism from users, who want to want to use the service, but stay away from it not because it isn’t as powerful as Gmail, but because it lacks plenty of very basic features. Google has announced a new feature for its new email service, Inbox by Gmail.
When I saw new feature, I mean it is new to the service itself, and not something unique.
Without further ado, let me reveal what the good news is, Inbox by Gmail now supports email formatting in its web version of the service. It’s strange isn’t it, an email service, and a modern one at that, and one from Google, which owns the most popular email service, Gmail, did not have this basic feature. See what I did there?

If you are using an Apple iPhone, or an Android phone, or tablet for that matter, it is likely that you have come across Google’s “other email” app.
It is called Inbox by Gmail.
And its not exclusive to mobile devices, Google Inbox is also available for desktop web browsers, but only if you activate on your mobile device first. Inbox is currently available for Google Chrome, Apple Safari, and Mozilla Firefox desktop browsers.
Google has begun promoting Inbox in the most unusual way. It has begun displaying a promotional text banner in Gmail, which now asks users to try out Inbox.
