Microsoft isn’t just about software, as you probably know, with its incredible Xbox line of gaming consoles, Windows Phones, and even basic hardware like mice and keyboards.
But the Redmond company is dipping its feet in some new waters this times.

Apple launched the 12-inch Retina MacBook in March, and though the device isn’t available yet, benchmarking website Geekbench, has measured its performance, not just once but on two occasions.
But the results aren’t looking good.
The Retina MacBook managed only 1924 and 2044 in single-core scores, and 4038 and 4775 on multi-core scores. These scores are almost on par with Apple’s 3 year old laptop, the 2011 MacBook Air.
The 12-inch Retina MacBook is powered by a 1.1GHz Intel Core M-5Y31 processor. As you can see in the image below, the device which was benchmarked is the same Retina MacBook variant.

You have probably heard of Raspberry Pi, it is the World’s cheapest computer, and was launched for just $25, and has sold over 5 million units.
The Raspberry Foundation released Raspberry Pi 2 for $35 in February, this year.
