Apple has officially released an update for its opreating system, which bumps the version to Mac OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan.

The update comes with quite a few changes, but most notably brings better compatibility for Office 2016.

A few weeks ago, we reported how OS X El Capitan users were suffering from a major issue in Office for Mac 2011. The latest version of the operating system caused the older productivity suite to malfunction, in that the Outlook app did not sync correctly with Microsoft’s servers, thus breaking the mail functionality, Microsoft did fix this issue after users reported the issue to the Redmond company.
