Piriform has released its monthly update for its system cleaning utility, CCleaner.

The October update for the app bumps the version to 5.11.

The biggest change in the app, is the inclusion of support for cleaning up the residue from newest productivity suite on the block, Microsoft 2016. CCleaner 5.11 can also clean junk from Camtasia Studio 8.0, the popular screen recording app from Techsmith.

The latest version of CCleaner also adds a very important option, in the form of support for uninstalling Windows Store apps in Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and of course Windows 10. A picture of this feature in CCleaner 5.11, is shown in the screenshot featured [...]
