Skype 7.9 for Mac update has been released today.

The update brings brings better link previews and a few bug fixes as well.

Around two months ago, the Microsoft owned VOIP service announced the roll out of web link previews for the Skype for Mac app. When you are chatting with someone on Skype, and send a link to any webpage, Skype for Mac will display a thumbnail preview of the webpage to the recipient. This web link preview also works for images, animated GIFs and Videos.
