Popular VOIP service Skype, has been having its ups and downs lately.
Recently, it was reported that the app was causing messages to appear out of order.
That is, the messages were being displayed in random order, with the ones you texted being displayed above newer ones. The Skype community was flooded with complaints about the same. This led to a community moderator from Skype, acknowledging the presence of the issue, and suggesting a workaround.

Skype, the popular VOIP service, now under the Microsoft banner, seems to have a new issue affecting some users.
A month ago, Skype messed up big time, with a major outage all over the World.
Microsoft later apologised for the downtime, and even offered some free Skype credit for affected users, in a bid to compensate for the issue.
And now it appears to be earning the ire of users with a new issue present in the current version of its Windows app, Skype 7.17, which was released earlier this month, is the one in question.

And the Microsoft owned VOIP service, has added in a couple of new features to the popular app.
First up is an all new sharing toolbar, which it calls the Media Toolbar, which is placed directly underneath the text box. It has five icons for sending the following:

Microsoft owned VOIP service, Skype has announced that the Skype Translator will be available in the Windows desktop app this summer.
A month ago, Skype launched its calling an instant messaging app with real time translation technology.
However this preview app was only released for Windows 8.1 and Windows Computers and Tablets.
The app was initially available in a beta phase last year, which required users to register for the app. It is now available for all users, sans registrations. And ever since the public preview was released last month, Skype says that it has seen a 300% increase in the usage of Skype Translator.
