The VLC ARM64 version has been officially released by VideoLAN. The multimedia player is one of the most popular software, used by Windows, Linux, Mac, and in recent years has been widely used by iOS and Android users.

The most important addition to the application, is support for Mac OS El Capitan.
It is a bit surprising, that the developers took this long, to add suppoert for the latest version of the operating system, which was launched over four months ago. But it should work just fine now
Though VLC has been a remarkably versatile media player, it has lacked several basic features, which are available in major rival apps (SM Player, PotPlayer to name a few). But the latest version, pretty much puts it on par with the other apps.
